How I work
While each project differs, the way I work does not.
-
Before starting a new project, I always ask the client to be as clear as possible: what kind of production is needed? What are the goals of the production? Which platforms are going to be used to share the production? What are the deadlines and deliverables?
With a clear overview of the project, I can share my own insight, ideas and artistic approach
This is also the stage that a budget and rough outline will be created.
-
At this stage I start the pre-production: location scouting, finding talent, creating a storyline or storyboard.
Together we agree on the storyline, shooting locations and deadlines.
-
The production consists of shooting all the footage needed to make the project come to life.
Depending on the location, environment and client needs, I have lots of different gear options to shoot.
-
Post production is started once shooting is complete.
Occasionally editing will start immediately when time is crucial. Ex: Social Media Campaigns, Tours or Expeditions.
Post production includes copyright soundtrack, cutting the film, sound design, color grading and anything else needed to create a high-end film.
I offer 3 versions - meaning that I first send a V1, make changes if needed, send a V2, make more changes if needed and then send a V3 final version. More versions can be created with the client if needed.
-
Once the production is wrapped up, I send the final production through a link that can be downloaded by the client.
All my productions are in 4K resolution, 16x9 or anamorphic ratio depending on what has been agreed.
I also create specific versions that are designed to perfectly fit each platform.
For example, Instagram versions are shorter, 1080p resolution and 9x16 ratio.
